Hello! My name is Mikael Lindgren and I’m a game designer with plenty of experience in interactive media development.
Over the past 18 years I've accumulated a broad knowledge in different genres ranging from hardcore action games to e-learning and games for kids. My experience covers a variety of hardware platforms like Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo WII, PC and smartphones. Positions and titles have obviously varied over time but I've mostly worked with the creative sides of things, either as game director, creative director or lead game designer.

I won't be able to line up all projects I've been working on here, but if you are interested in my CV you can check it out on Linked In.

I can provide general game design consulting, game audits on projects already in production, narrative design, product gamification, new game ideas (IP development) and pitching material, hardware and electronics prototyping (PCB and electronic circuit development). I also write and produce music and soundFX in my own studio.

If you are interested in discussing how I can help you with your project, don't hesitate to drop me a line and I’ll be in touch.

Stuff I do and have done in the past

Educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm (1987 -1993), I begun my career doing shows and installations often using computers and video feeds as an integral part of my art. However, my strong interest in new technology pushed me in another direction and soon I started developing games and interactive media more or less full time.

Today I'm working at SimWay, a small independent studio in Stockholm, where I'm focusing on different types of hardware interfaced simulators. Tasks varies from game design, UI graphics and design of hardware circuits with the overall goal of maximizing the user experience in every possible way.

Now, let's wrap up this presentation. Thanks for checking out my page!
